Just looking at the NOAA  48h forecast  published the 27, there will be a low at 1006 centered on 38N 58W with winds of gale force blowing at 35 steady from SW.
I had a look at some Grib files yesterday and they are compatible.
The limit between Low and High will be at 33N approximately.
Stay/go south and be economical on canvas …
The low will then move NE to be at 42N 42W the following day.
