Les canaux du nord de l'Europe en OVNI

En faisant un peu de ménage dans ma messagerie, je retrouve ce mail que j'avais envoyé à un couple Anglais, venu naviguer sur HANAMI II et qui cherchait un bateau pour faire les canaux du nord de l'Europe et de la Russie.

As I explained in my previous mail I didn't keep the paper about "Cruising Russian Canals" and it may have been published in Practical Boat Owner (PBO) and not in Sailing Today.

Nevertheless I did a bit of digging in my archives, so to speak, and did find 3 papers about canals you could sail to reach the Baltic via Denmark and Sweeden.

Frankly, from the pictures, it looks gorgious, almost like the Caledonian Canal, even if less rocky and with a very different scenery.

Lifting keels/dagerboards are definitely a great thing.

It seems that for most of the trip you could keep the mast on which would be a significant plus.
